Below are posts on technologies utilized in rural community development. These are among the first of what I hope to be a long list of technologies applicable to development – some of which I have used personally, others will be ones that I have merely researched and feel are exeptional solutions to some of the difficult issues being faced in the field. Many of these methods and technologies are little known to development practitioner and it is my hope that by presenting them here, others may be able to further research and implement them in their own programs. Feel free to leave comments, questions, observations in the comment boxes for others or myself to read; community is more than just an ideal that is taught to rural community to improve their standard of living, it’s about all of us working together as a global community to solve the issues being faced in the 21st Century.
